Power-Glide centers their course instruction around the most effective foreign language teaching methods: Diglot-Weaves starts with English and gradually weaves in more and more of the target language and saturation with the language. It starts with an adventure story that continues throughout the course. Power Glide then adds puzzles, games, stories, and problem-solving activities to maintain students' interest levels. The course provides different learning styles with visual, auditory, and kinesthetic activities.

Power-Glide courses are designed either for independent study or for a traditional classroom setting. If students work 20-30 minutes every day as suggested, the Ultimate (grade 7 through adult) courses should take 3–4 semesters to complete, and the Elementary Courses should take 2–3 semesters to complete.  The time frame will vary based on the student’s learning comprehension level and grade level.

Each course includes a set of audio CD’s compatible with any conventional CD player. The audio CD’s contain  course material such as the adventure story, the audio portion of each activity, and instructions for the student. A resource CD-ROM is also included for supplemental activities designed to help reinforce what is being taught in the course material.
