Please understand that we will not be able to return submissions so be sure to make a copy for
yourself, or in the case of artwork, scan it or photograph it and submit that, for while we will be happy to accept the original
work, we will not be able to return it.
For submissions by minors:
Please include your Name, age, home address, phone number, and email address. You may send a photo
of yourself if you would like it to be published with your submission.
For art and Photos place the information on the back of each piece. Please don’t fold art
and photos. For all art, poems, and stories and essays, This statement Must be written on each submission: “This will
certify that the above work is completely original,” and sign your name.
Label all stories and essays fiction or nonfiction and include a title.
Type or write carefully in ink.
Writing may be edited; we reserve the right to publish our version without prior approval.
Your name, and age will be published along with your submission. We will not publish your phone
number, email, or home address, however we do need that information for our records.
For submissions by adults:
We will need your name, home address, phone number, and email address. Your name and city will be published
with your submission.
We will publish a photo of you with your submission if you include one with your submission. Your
home address, phone number, and email address will not be published, but will be kept for our records.
Type or write carefully in ink.

All works submitted by minors or adults become the property of The Social Life and all copyrights
are assigned to The Social Life. We retain the non-exclusive rights to publish all such works in any format. All material
in The Social Life is copyrighted to protect us and exclude others from republishing your work. All contributors retain
the right to their work and may submit it elsewhere as they choose.
For Subscriptions:
If you subscribe by Septembor 25th, we will have our first issue in your mailbox by October
1, 2005. If for any reason we are unable to continue publication of this magazine, you will recieve a refund of
$1.00 for each issue not received.
